Baby Shower Word Book / Sign In Book

So along with the bouquets I made for the baby shower this past wekeend, I also created a Baby Shower Word Book to hold pictures of the close family and to also serve as a sign in book. I Used the design studio to create the book using George and Don Juan cartridges and then cut out card stock to serve as the "sign in" part of the book.

I think this book turned out great.. and I can really tell now that I am improving my word book making skills!

My sister in law was thrilled with her keepsakes, as was I!

Baby Shower Bouquets

Hi Everyone,
So I had another busy week and weekend. As soon as my kids' party was over, I moved on to the next project. WE just had a baby shower this past weekend for my Sister In Law. She is having a little boy in November. I created two bouquets to serve as decoration to her sign in table!

All the cuts are made from the New Arrivals Cartridge, I cut mulitple layers and glued the skewers in between layers to make the project look clean from the front and back!

Pooh & Friends Bouquets

These are the three Pooh and Friends Bouquets I made for the party. They are all pretty much the same but the wooden posts on each have something different written on them. The first one says Aiden & Aleena. The second one says Aleena's 1st Birthday. Third one says Aiden's First Birthday. All the characters were created using the Pooh and Friends cartridge and the flowers are from the George Cartridge.

Aleena's Sign in Book

This is Aleena's sign in book. Made with Design Studio, Don Juan, and George Cartridges. Again, you can't see the bling on the words but its decorated with stickles.
Thanks for looking. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Aiden's Sign in Book

This is Aiden's Sign in Book for the party. I used the design studio and Don Juan and George cartridges. The words at the top are blingged out with stickles (even though its hard to see in the pictures).
Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!

Aiden & Aleena's 1st Birthday Party ... Lots of Cricut Creations!!!

Hi Everyone!

I have lots to share with you! Just this past weekend, July 11th, my husband and I threw a 1st birthday party for our twins, Aiden & Aleena! The party was a huge sucess and everyone had a great time. We had it outdoors at a park with a bounce house and sno cone machine!

I made lots of things for the party using the cricut and had to share some of my creations. Please see below...

This first picture is of the sign in table at the party. It holds the pooh bouquets, sign in books, and two picture collages of the kids.

This next picture is Aleena's Sign in book. I used the design studio to create the pages and then bound them together using ribbon. I covered the holes with large gem stickers. This next picture is Aiden's Sign in book. I made this the same way as described above for Aleena's book. This next picture is showing the three pooh bouquets I made to serve as decoration for the party. Two were placed on the sign in table and one on the cake table. This bouquet has pooh, tiger, piglet, eyore, honey pot, a tree post, and some flowers. This picture is just a close up of one of the three bouquets.I will post more pictures soon! Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Thanks for looking!

Happy 1st Birthday Aiden & Aleena!!!!

Just wanted to post a very special post to wish my sweet angels, Aiden & Aleena a very Happy 1st Birthday!

I just cannot believe my babies are 1 already. It has been a very emotional day for me... I am so excited my babies are growing up but also very sad their first year is already over and my babies are not going to be babies much longer. Even though I know ... No matter how old they are.. they will always be my babies!

They are having homemade cupcakes tonight to celebrate (and make a mess with) so I will post more pictures of that!

Again, Happy Birthday Angels! I love you...
